resident, 19 year old Krystal
Lee Muccioli,
was awarded a $6,550.00 scholarship with the title of Miss Greater Derry
2009/2010 at the Adams Opera House in Derry NH on June 26th.
Krystal is a Junior at the University of New Hampshire with a Major in
Nutritional Science and a Minor in Public Health. Krystal's
platform issue is “Volunteerism: Be the change that you wish to see in
the world”. Krystal
performed a vocal of “Orange Colored Sky” as her talent presentation.
Krystal will represent the Greater Derry area at the Miss New Hampshire
competition in May 2010.
The after-party was held at the Pinkerton Tavern in Derry NH where
Krystal presented other awards. At the stroke of midnight we all sang
Happy Birthday to the newest member of the Miss Derry family, Happy
Birthday Krystal!

charitable trust, incorporated in the state of New Hampshire. This year
we awarded $19,300.00 in scholarship grants.

everyone, and welcome to MissDerry.org! On June 26th, 2009 I
was crowned the 23rd Miss Greater Derry at the Adams Memorial Opera
House. I was blessed in that I not only won the title, but was also
named the recipient of the Brenda E. Keith Interview Award for a total
of $7,550.00 in scholarships!! Not only was I shaking with excitement,
but tears were streaming down my face in the shock of it all. As they
announced my name I looked into the audience and saw my mother, my
father, and my best friend all looking at me with proud faces that I
will never be able to forget. When I began taking my first walk as the
new Miss Greater Derry I heard singing from the audience. It was from

The Miss Derry Scholarship Program has confirmed that we will award a $1,000.00
scholarship to a student from Pinkerton Academy that has been selected
by the school as an outstanding student of the performing arts.

The Miss Derry Scholarship Program will hold it's 24th. Annual
Miss Greater Derry Scholarship Pageant at the Adam's Memorial Opera
House on June 25th. 2010. In 2009, Krystal Lee Muccioli was the recipient of
$7,550.00 in scholarship awards and the title of Miss Greater Derry. To see

Graham of Sandown is Miss New Hampshire 2009.
She competed as Miss
Seacoast in the 63rd Annual Miss New Hampshire Scholarship
Program Thursday, April 30th through Saturday night, May 2, 2009. A
22-year-old 2008 summa cum laude graduate of Fordham University
(accomplished in only three years), Lindsey's degree is a BA in

Miss Derry will be attending the Miss America Pageant in Las Vegas to
support Miss NH as she completes for the title of Miss America 2010.

Crock-Pot Cook-Off at the Haluwa Restauarnt and Lounge in Nashua NH was
a resounding success! Over 20 different recipes were available for
tasting and they were delicious. Krystal and her mom planned the event
and raised $1,663.00 for the Children's Miracle Network.
Live entertainment was provided by the Showcase Quartet and Tray &
Tramack. We are looking forward to a similar event this spring.
