resident, 19 year old Krystal
Lee Muccioli,
was awarded a $6,550.00 scholarship with the title of Miss Greater Derry
2009/2010 at the Adams Opera House in Derry NH on June 26th.
Krystal is a Junior at the University of New Hampshire with a Major in
Nutritional Science and a Minor in Public Health. Krystal's
platform issue is “Volunteerism: Be the change that you wish to see in
the world”. Krystal
performed a vocal of “Orange Colored Sky” as her talent presentation.
Krystal will represent the Greater Derry area at the Miss New Hampshire
competition in May 2010.
The after-party was held at the Pinkerton Tavern in Derry NH where
Krystal presented other awards. At the stroke of midnight we all sang
Happy Birthday to the newest member of the Miss Derry family, Happy
Birthday Krystal!

we awarded $19,300.00 in scholarship grants.

The Miss Derry Scholarship committee announced that the 23rd. Annual
Miss Greater Derry Scholarship Pageant will be held at the Adam's Opera
House on June 26th. 2009. If you are interested in competing please see

Graham of Sandown is Miss New Hampshire 2009. She competed as Miss
Seacoast in the 63rd Annual Miss New Hampshire Scholarship
Program Thursday, April 30th through Saturday night, May 2, 2009. A
22-year-old 2008 summa cum laude graduate of Fordham University
(accomplished in only three years), Lindsey's degree is a BA in
Broadcast Journalism and Theater Performance. Meet Miss NH 2009

DeBaie, Miss Greater Derry, in Top-Ten!
We are very proud to announce that Miss Derry 2008-09 was selected to be
one of the Top-Ten finalist at the Miss NH 2009 Pageant. This is
Lauryn's first attempt at the coveted Miss NH crown and the judges
recognized her potential by selecting her as one of the Top-Ten out of
26 contestants.

New Hampshire ranked fifth in the United States for scholarship grants
awarded this year. $81,000.00 was awarded by the Miss NH Program and
it's local organizations. Although not a competition, we in Miss Derry
are proud of our contribution of $20,500.00 awarded last June at the
Miss Derry Scholarship program and of the volunteers that made it
possible.
