Our Mission

Organization Profile

Miss Derry Scholarship Program, Inc.* was incorporated in 1986 as a community service project. It's success has been greater than we imagined. In 2000 we awarded over $16,000 in scholarships, making us the 3rd highest awarding local pageant in the United States. In 2003 we awarded $28,450.00. Last year our Miss Derry Scholarship Program awarded $12,500.00 in scholarships with Miss Greater Derry receiving  $6,000.00 in scholarship awards with her title. Since our inception, we have awarded $286,760.00 in scholarships.
Our board of directors and membership consists of volunteers who donate their time and resources to furthering our mission.
Our primary source of income is derived from operating a Bingo game at Taylor's Hall in Windham, NH on Sunday evenings.

The Miss Greater Derry Scholarship Pageant is a preliminary event to the Miss NH and Miss America Pageant
