The Miss Derry Scholarship Program is proud to introduce the 18 contestants who competed for scholarship awards and the title of Miss Greater Derry 2012 at our 25th. annual Miss Greater Derry pageant on June 24th. 2012 at the Adams memorial Opera House in Derry NH. The new Miss Greater Derry received a scholarship award of $5,000.00, the opportunity to represent the Greater Derry area at the Miss New Hampshire scholarship pageant and possibly to represent the state of NH at the Miss America Pageant in 2013! In order to earn these opportunities, our contestants were assessed by our panel of judges in the areas of talent, private interview, eveningwear, lifestyle and fitness in swimsuit, and their on-stage question. Each phase of the competition is designed to provide insight into the contestants abilities.
The curtain went up at 7:00PM to the applause of close to 175 patrons and guests as our contestants and dance ensembles from the New Hampshire Acadamie of Dance entertained us with their talents.

Click the contestants photographs to view their competition page with photos and talent video.
The videos are low quality but, if you would like a professional DVD of the competition, look for our MGD2012 DVD link to purchase a quality DVD of the entire program (coming soon).
