Meet Lacey!​

Lacey is a passionate leader, dancer, and future educator who believes in making a positive impact wherever she goes. A lifelong performer, she took the stage with a jazz dance at this year's competition.

​

Lacey’s dedication to service and leadership shines through her many accomplishments, including serving as a middle school co-head cheerleading coach, earning recognition as a Wolak Learning Fellow, holding a leadership role with the ASCD Club, and completing over 2,000 hours of community service. She has also been recognized with honors including the Janusz Electric Community Spark Award, the Norma Wilkinson Award, the Heart and Hustle Award, and the Martin Harwood Award.

When she’s not studying, serving, or performing, you might find Lacey reading a romance novel, enjoying a rainy day, sewing something new, or spending time with friends. A few fun facts? She knows the entire rap section of Carrie Underwood’s “The Champion,” she is one of five kids, she’s a super-taster, and she once shot a flaming bow and arrow!
